APRIL 27, 2007 :
JELLY @ THE LARKSPUR CAFE THEATER
(Posted April 17, 2007)
It's truly amazing how quickly 7 months can go by. Back in September 2006, Jelly was honored to play to a packed house at the Larkspur Cafe Theater, Marin's premier listening room, situated in the not-so-sleepy town of Larkspur, CA. The place was as packed as a poultry farm and by all accounts he joint had never jumped so high. Of course, no evening with Jelly is complete without a few surprise guests and that nigtht was no exception. The cell phone cameras came out in droves when Mr. Bobby Weir approached the stage, axe in hand and took us all to school with some stellar renditions of China Cat Sunflower and Rider. The crowd couldn't believe it - and neither could we. Along with Tracy Blackman, Fiver Brown and Cole Tate, we put on one of the tastiest treats we've ever had the priveledge to be a part of. Our keyboard player James (aka Wonky Digits) was even seen physically drooling as he went to work on the fantastic grand piano that furnishes the stage.
Anyway, WE'VE BEEN ASKED BACK and can't wait to put on another fine show for all y'all on Friday April 27. Show starts at 8pm sharp, but be sure to get there when doors open at 6:30pm - you'll want front row seats for what's going to be a fun-filled boogiefest of the highest order.
Peace, and hope to see you there!
Jelly xx

FEBRUARY 24, 2007:
JERRY DAY AT THE SWEETWATER!
(Posted February 3, 2007)
Jelly is proud and privileged to be playing at the Jerry Day 2007 benefit concert at the Sweetwater Saloon this coming Saturday night. As long-time friends and fans of the Grateful Dead organization, we're honored and excited to be putting on what promises to be our biggest Jerry tribute yet.
Jelly will be joined by our good friend Pat Nevins and his band Ragged Glory. They'll be performing some Jerry classics as well as a good deal of Neil Young and Gram Parsons for good measure. Pat's a native of Abington, PA, went to school in Ohio and moved to the Bay Area in 1994, where he's established a firm musical presence playing with dozens of talented local musicians. We're thrilled to be on the same bill as Pat and his band.

About Jerry's Birthday Celebration...
The official Jerry Day celebration kicks off on August 5th 2007 with the 5th Annual Excelsior District Jerry Garcia Birthday Celebtration at the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater, located at 40 John F. Shelley Drive.
Jerry Garcia, as most people know, was one of the biggest musical icons of our time, the leader of the Grateful Dead, and a native son of the Excelsior who grew up at 87 Harrington Street. This community celebration of Jerry Garcia originated in 2002 and has since gained a wide range of support across the Excelsior District and Southeast Community of San Francisco. Due to its success we are seeing a tremendous amount of increase in the use and awareness of the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater, as well as a great deal of positive press! Once again, we look forward to filling the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater with a great community event celebrating the Excelsior District's Native son - Jerry Garcia on August 5th! Stay tuned for details on some cool fundraising events in the near future. For more information (or to get involved) please feel free to contact the Jerry Day Committee at jerrydaysf@hotmail.com.

SEPTEMBER 29 , 2005:
SPECIAL GUEST AT THE SWEETWATER! It’s always a pleasure playing the Sweetwater in Mill Valley. The history alone is enough to get any band in mode woodrow so, naturally, the boys were fired up to deliver yet another kickass show. The band started with several of their most requested numbers like A Little’s Alright, Woodcutter’s Son, Color of Air, and Kyle and Elizabeth (to name a few) and had things well in hand when, all of a sudden, who decided to come up on stage but our old pal Bobby Weir. The next 35 minutes will be forever logged in our memories as Bobby led the band straight into Cold Rain and Snow followed briskly by a smokin’ China Cat > Rider and then smartly into Turn on Your Lovelight. Bobby was exceedingly playful on stage, ribbing Stewball during songs with “You call this music?” and “Your shoe’s untied!”
Obviously all of us will cherish that night and we would look forward to helping Bobby with his career any time he wants. Bob: we’re here to help!
We especially want to thank Ethan Winterling for taking one for the team and allowing a magical event to occur. And remember...“It gotz to be jelly cause jam don’t shake like dat!”
